Description

Creteseal CS2000™ is a specialty blended solution applied to freshly-placed concrete that fixates the calcium hydroxide. Application is typically performed on the same day as the concrete placement or as soon as job site weather conditions allow. The product is sprayed on and evenly distributed with a soft-bristle broom until it is completely absorbed within the slab. Creteseal CS2000™ is designed to penetrate into the top portion of concrete floor slabs to form a moisture vapor and alkalinity control system.

CS2000™ also benefits as a curing method and may be used for slabs on grade, below grade or above grade wherever resilient flooring is specified. The system includes a company technical representative to oversee the installation for quality control and certification. CS2000™ is covered with a 15-year warranty against failure due to negative-side moisture vapor migration or moisture-born alkalinity. 

Where to Use

CS2000™ conforms to all state and federal VOC regulations, having zero VOC content. Besides being used in department stores and warehouses, the zero VOC content allows installation of the CS2000™ in schools, food stores, medical offices and hospitals.

CS2000™ is a pro-active solution for addressing excessive moisture vapor emission and alkalinity from damaging the future flooring materials. Construction traffic can resume as early as the following day after the CS2000™ application. CS2000™ Spray Apply system is more economical when compared to a retrofit system (systems applied after the concrete has been cured). CS2000™ is non-toxic, non-hazardous, low odor, and contains no volatile organic compounds, waxes, resins, solvents, acrylics, epoxies, stearates, urethanes or oils and will not separate or plug applicator sprayers. CS2000™ is a water-based product, environmentally friendly, will not harm plants or animals and is easy to clean up.

Description

Creteseal® MAX System™ is a two-component ASTM F3010-certified moisture control system formulated to stop water vapor transmission levels of up to 25 lbs/ 1,000 SF over 24 hours. The low viscosity polymer penetrates and mechanically bonds into properly prepared concrete. Creteseal® MAX System™ is alkali resistant and will not support biological growth (bacteria, fungus, mold or algae). The material is applied in one coat providing a durable coating that stops moisture vapor and alkalinity. A primer and concrete topping will be required over the Creteseal® MAX System™.
